Bits by Becca: Some Summer Fun

We have had a wonderful summer! I can't believe that it is almost over! :( I haven't blogged at all for a couple of reasons, mainly because I lost all of my pictures to a crashed hard drive but also because I feel like there is never time for it! I have been in the process of trying to recover photos from anyone and everyone I can. I am thankful for grandparents that have pictures and for Shutterfly (they let you order an archive CD of any pictures you have uploaded!) I was thrilled to learn that. Now I just have to go through all of the Flickr pictures and save them to my computer. It's not everything but it is certainly better than nothing!

Ava will be 18 months old on August 2nd. We can't believe it! She has 40+ words, still babbles her own language for phrases (although she had her first full phrase a few nights ago, "we brushing teeth" - sounded more like ear bushing deef, but that was with a toothbrush in her mouth, haha!), and is positively all over the place. She loves to spin around, run everywhere she goes and say "hewwo" (hello) to anything new that crosses her path. Her 7th tooth just cut through and she is still a macaroni and cheese fiend, (I don't know where she gets that from). ;) She can identify and find the numbers 2 and 8 and the letters O and sometimes B. She's a goof! Her favorite songs to sing are "Row, Row" as she calls it, ABCs, Itsy Bitsy, and Teapot. (all titles sound like forms of those words but not exactly, except for Row Row, she will say that loud and clear.

Here are a few highlights of our summer, in pictures - no particular order. It began with a family vacation to Colorado and South Dakota, most of those pics are gone, but I will write about what ones I do have next time. We have had many fun adventures this summer; swimming, boating, strawberry picking, time with friends and family...we need more days!!
