Funny Girl

Ava is 13 months old and all over the place!  She is very steady on her feet now and tries to run as much as she can.  Some of her favorite things to do are to run up to Scooter and give him a hug (and say awwww) and get a kiss.  She is so loving.  She walks around with her Lovie, blanket and other toys, curls them up to her face to "hug" them and says "Awww."  She is very funny.  She has also now taken to wearing her blanket around like a cape.  She likes to wear my gloves and try to put on her own hat, too.  This is how she plays. Haha!

Big news for Daddy, he finally got a new car!  Ava helped to say goodbye to his old one.  She got her first Happy Meal after a long day of looking at cars.

It's a little bittersweet - I know, I know, it's just a car.  But we have so many good memories with that car.  After all, it did bring our sweet girl home for the very first time!  (Among so many other memories!)  We are looking forward to many new memories in Daddy's new car.  (Pictures to come)

She loves to read her books.  She will turn the pages when you tell her to and at the end of a story will consistently say something that resembles "The End."  She is trying so hard to talk, and it is adorable.  It sounds much like garbled sounds being said underwater.  She knows exactly what she is trying to tell you and will insistently keep telling you and gesturing until she gets her point across.  She likes to look at herself in her car mirror and giggle too. I love watching her understand and learn new things each day.  She is amazing.

I can't wait until it's warmer to get outside and do more things!  Looking forward to her discovery of all that spring has to offer.
