Quick Trip in Florida

While the circumstances of our visit, the passing of my Aunt Janie, were not ideal, it was a wonderful opportunity to see lots of family.  I hadn't seen some of them in over a decade!  It was a whirlwind trip, being there less than 48 hours, so we packed in as much as we could.  Lots of family to see.  The service was beautiful.  I was slated to sing Amazing Grace at the end of the service.  I was honored to be able to do that…and I held it together through most of the service until people started sharing their remembrances of my aunt.  I was done.  When it was my turn to get up there and close the service with my song, I could barely talk let alone sing.  I know, however, that it turned out exactly as it should have.  As I tried choking out, rather unsuccessfully, the words, every person in there started singing the entire song with me.  It was amazing and perfect.  I know that my aunt had a hand in that.  :)  The trip was much too short and I am already looking forward to making plans for when we can head back down and spend more time.
