Easter Weekend

Egg-scited for Coloring Eggs!

We had a fun weekend with family with all kinds of Easter celebration!  We started off coloring eggs and Ava loved it.  Her colors of choice were blue and pink.  She kept picking up the egg dippers and yelling, "Blackhawks!"  She thought they were hockey sticks, haha.  At one point we tried the crayon on the eggs and she was confused because it didn't show up.  She liked watching the eggs while they were sitting in the color cups.

We were able to spend time with family celebrating as well.  The bunny was definitely good to Ava this year!  We are so blessed with our families!

Easter morning Ava found her basket from the Easter Bunny.  The bunny used to bring Scott baseball cards and he continued the tradition with Ava.  In her words, "It's my favorite."  She enjoyed opening the packs with Daddy, although I'm sure that he enjoyed it even more!

Easter afternoon brought us more family and an egg hunt!  Ava was a pro!  "Oh here's one! Here's 'annudder' one!"  She didn't care much for what was inside and was more concerned with finding more.   We went and played outside again later on and she kept asking, "Where's Ava's eggs?"  I think we will be having multiple egg hunts in our house in the coming days, haha.
